Century of Tradition

The Legacy of Park Country Club of Buffalo

Founded in 1903, The Park Country Club is proud to celebrate over a century of rich history and timeless tradition as we continue into our second "Century of Tradition." In 1927, renowned architect Clifford C. Wendehack — acclaimed for his work on the iconic Winged Foot Country Club — designed our spectacular and elegant clubhouse. His masterful vision created a breathtaking setting that continues to serve as a welcoming retreat for our members and guests to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories.

A Legacy on the Links

At the same time, our magnificent golf course was masterfully designed and constructed by the esteemed architectural firm Colt & Alison. The Park Country Club proudly hosted the 1934 PGA Championship, along with numerous prestigious amateur events over the years. Our course, known for its thoughtful design and meticulous conditioning, has truly stood the test of time. While it has been carefully lengthened to nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees to keep pace with advancements in modern technology, the integrity and essence of its original design remain intact. The result is a consistently rewarding and classic challenge that appeals to golfers of all skill levels, set on a beautifully maintained course.

Where Amenities Meet Memories

Our club offers a wealth of amenities designed for both relaxation and recreation. Members enjoy access to tennis and pickleball courts, a beautiful swimming pool, a kiddie pool, and a playground — perfect for family fun. Yet, the true hallmark of our membership lies not just in these exceptional facilities, but in the meaningful connections built through our special member events. From children’s activities and the ladies’ book club to festive holiday celebrations, lively social hours, and a variety of golf events for all ages, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here, every generation can create lasting memories together.
